iOS Setup Guide

Setting Up iGlide on iPhone

Follow these steps to connect your iPhone to iGlide LocationChanger and start simulating GPS locations.

Requirements

  • iPhone running iOS 12 or later (iOS 17.5+ or 16.x recommended)
  • Windows 10/11 or macOS 11+
  • Original Apple USB cable (Lightning or USB-C)
  • iTunes installed (Windows only)
  • iGlide LocationChanger (Windows or macOS)

Step-by-step Setup

  1. 1

Install iGlide LocationChanger on your computer

Download and install iGlide LocationChanger for Windows or macOS. Launch the app before connecting your iPhone.

  2. 2

    Install iTunes (Windows only)

iTunes provides the Apple USB drivers Windows needs to communicate with your iPhone. For the most reliable driver setup on Windows, install iTunes from Apple's official website.

  3. 3

Enable Developer Mode on your iPhone

Developer Mode is required on iOS 16 and later. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode → toggle ON → restart when prompted → confirm 'Turn On' after restart.

Note: Developer Mode is not available on iOS 15 or earlier. Skip this step if your device runs iOS 15.

  4. 4

Connect iPhone to computer via USB

Use the original Apple Lightning or USB-C cable that came with your iPhone. Third-party cables may not establish a data connection even if they charge.

  5. 5

Trust This Computer on your iPhone

When prompted, tap 'Trust' on your iPhone and enter your device passcode. If the prompt does not appear, disconnect and reconnect the cable.

Warning: If you tap 'Don't Trust', iGlide cannot detect your device. You must reset Location & Privacy in Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Location & Privacy.

  6. 6

Select your device in iGlide LocationChanger

Your iPhone should appear in the device selector. Choose it and click Connect. Wait for the map to load.

  7. 7

    Set a GPS location

Search for a location or click on the map. Click 'Move Here' to spoof your iPhone's GPS. Open any location-aware app to verify the change.

Common Issues

My iPhone is not detected after connecting.

Make sure iTunes is installed (Windows), Developer Mode is enabled, and you tapped Trust on your device. Try a different USB port or cable.

Developer Mode option is missing in Settings.

Connect your iPhone to the computer first, then check Settings → Privacy & Security. It may only appear after the device is connected.

Error 12 appears when connecting.

This is a driver or trust issue. See our full Error 12 fix guide.
